Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy April Vacation!
The 6th graders had an awesome learning experience this past
Friday during Engineering Day. The
students tested their “Egg-capaults”, competed in the “Tower of Power” contest,
participated in the Inventor Mentor show as well as presentations from the
Museum of Science and other scientists and engineers. I would like to thank the two
Mr. Awiszuses and Ms. Capobianco-Burns for the hard work they had done since the start of the school year to organize Engineering Day. We also thank the
McCall Parent Association for funding all materials and resources pertaining to the event. Engineering Day would not be possible without
the hard work and generosity of these staff members and parent volunteers.
I would also like to remind all current 6th and 7th
grade families to please review the 2019-2020 Course Selection information if
you have not done so already. The information
can accessed by using the following links:
Please do not forget that all course selection forms are due Monday after break.
Lastly, I would like to remind everyone of an awesome STEAM opportunity
that will be coming up after the vacation.
